Circa 52 + Giveaway

As promised, we are showcasing the best photography from our Circa 52 photo shoot.  The entertaining designs and cool color palette of the Circa 52 prints truly came to life when we set everything up for the shoot, and the sun started to shine on the yard.

The collection was designed to be free spirited and fun for all ages with whimsical vehicles, spaceships, robots and woodland creatures that are unified with a distinctive contemporary palette.

The children's sense of adventure truly brought the shoot to life.  They looked adorable in the darling clothing that had such sweet little details.   They had a blast rolling around on the bean bags,  hiding in the tee pees and roasting marshmallows.

Our mission as a company is to provide an environmentally friendly cotton alternative to the quilting and sewing communities.  Circa 52, as with all of our collections, is printed with low impact dyes on 100% organic cotton certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).  We love our planet, believe in living green, and know that together we can make a difference, one yard at a time.

Birch Fabrics @ The Emmys

Birch Fabrics Storyboek Collection 

A wonderful company called, Little Free Radical, owned by Crystal Evans used some of our Storyboek fabric collection to make some gorgeous baby gifts that were given out to numerous stars in the CBK Luxury Gift Lounges at the 63rd Annual Emmys!

Little Free Radical in association with the Artistan Group, an exclusive community of talented artisans, that collectively provides a lovely sampling of handcrafted products to celebrities and members of the press at major award show luxury Gift Lounges, made darling cloth balls and whales with the Birch Fabrics Storyboek 100% organic fabric collection.

How sweet are these cloth balls and whales that Crystal made with our fabric, they are perfect little gifts.

Crystal and her company, Litte Free Radical, has a heartwarming story that you must read.  Their collection of products is sweet and classic with a contemporary twist...now if we could only get Crystal to make a tutu with some of our prints too!

Quilt Market Teaser #3 + Giveaway

A Sneak Peak at Birch Fabrics Circa 52

This past weekend we organized a photo-shoot of some wonderful products we crafted with the Circa 52 fabric collection that we will debut at Quilt Market in a few weeks.  We are fortunate to live in California, enjoying wonderful weather most of the year and this weekend didn't disappoint; we had such beautiful sunny days for the shoot.

Circa 52 is a follow up collection to the highly successful Circa 50, both designed exclusively for Birch Fabrics by Monaluna.  Circa 52 is an eclectic collection of whimsical retro designs with an inviting contemporary color palette.

Quilt Market Teaser #2

Birch Fabrics Commute Sneak Peak

Our Commute strike-offs just arrived!  The collection really comes to life when you see these lovely fabrics.  Designed for all of us on the "Go," this contemporary collection is perfect for children, especially boys but I'd love to see a twirly skirt in the "Bike It" (multi-color bike pattern) print too.  We also see our prints lending a fresh contemporary vibe to your home decor projects as well; this collection would be super as accent pillows or slipcovers.

Birch Fabrics Prepares for Quilt Market

These are some of our busiest weeks as we prepare for the Fall Quilt Market in Houston, October 29th -31st. Our booth this year is #1548-1550, please come by and see us!

We will share our plans and preparations for the show over the coming weeks...so stay tuned for previews of our luscious new collections and much more. The show is especially exciting this Fall because we are launching THREE new collections; Circa 52, Commute, and Mod Basics.

Here is a Sneak Peek at one of our upcoming introductions, Mod Basics. Designed to be a wonderful complement to all of our fabric collections, it is a fresh contemporary collection of playful motifs mixed with our take on some classics.

Oh, and I have to start with my favorite!  Our elephant print, Ellie, with wonderful elephants, baby elephants and even sweet birdies.  We just love it, and can't wait to begin sewing with it!

Circa 52 by Monaluna Designs for Birch Fabrics

Introducing our next collection "Circa 52" by Monaluna Designs. This is a follow up to our debut collection "Circa 50". Inspired by a little of the urban and suburban life of the fifties. We brought back our favorite woodland friends and space rockets in an a fresh soft color palette for another mid century adventure! Have a look!
